And the medal goes to...
Today, after a month of playing, Calvin got an award for most improved player. He is very proud. And still very much in love with rugby.

MIM
It was a grey day today so we went to the Musical Instrument Museum in the beautiful Old England building.
The museum is experienced mostly through audio guides that have recordings of the instruments being played.
The kids loved this and danced and rocked out to bagpipes, accordions, horns and more.

Calvin's Cyprus: Ancient tomb fun!
On Sunday we when to Tombs of the kings it was the best ancient rune site in the hole trip. The tombs were fun because their was a lot of space to run around. In one tomb their was old steps that you can walk on, the tombs entrances look a lot like caves. Their was a temple to Hades or it could of bean a emperor's tomb. Some of the tombs were hidden so we had to keep our eye's peeled.
Sammy's Cyprus: Camels and Kings
the tomb of the Kings was fun! I got to go into a King's grave.
And the camels were scary and funny at the same time.

Emily's Cyprus: "the pool, definitely the pool"
Gorge: The gorge was cool and awesome.
We were in a crack of a mountain and there were lots of leaves hanging down.
Pool: The pool also cool and awesome and vary vaaaary cold.
I stayed in the pool the longest out of all 6 kids that I stayed with.

A toast to the bard
Peter and I attended our second Robbie Burns night dinner. Again, it was a great time.
This year our wonderful hostess, Robyn, sewed tams for everyone.
There was plenty of scotch, the toast to the haggis, piping, toast to the lassies and reply to the laddies.
And this year several of the guys went all out with kilts.
Beast mode
Calvin has decided to try rugby and recently joined the team at school. One week in and he seems to having a great time: tackling and scrumming. For now he's training with the U10 group but will have to move up to U12 as soon as he has the basics covered.
